In a letter to the Columbus Dispatch,‬ LGBT Committee Co-Chair Tera Proby discusses how North Carolina’s House Bill 2 negatively affects and targets transgender people.

"North Carolina should not promote hate, but inclusion and acceptance. It is a state that should promote constitutional values as opposed to the harmful ideology of dualism.The people of North Carolina deserve legislation that reflects the diverse values and lives that make up the residents of their state. Anything less is inhumane."
